Alces Flight to talk about greater accessibility in supercomputing

The team at Alces Flight is pleased to announce that they will be taking part in the High Performance Computing Knowledge Portal (HPCKP) 2023 meeting. Hosted in Barcelona on May 17 and 18th, this non-profit event centres around championing new connections, exchanging knowledge within the supercomputing community — and striving for greater inclusion and sustainability within the field.

As part of our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion we are proud to present our latest work on OpenFlightHPC, the open-source project focused on platform agnostic HPC cluster deployment and use. This talk will focus on our latest features which are designed for novice HPC user enablement. Through the utilisation of a demo cluster, and engaging with our latest set of templates, we will be showcasing our contributions towards advancing rapid HPC adoption in users.

OpenFlightHPC was launched in 2019 and has since grown to cover public and private cloud, as well as baremetal hardware. This talk was brought together thanks to support from Do IT Now and Women in HPC.

HPCKP23 is free to attend and open for registration. To learn more about visit their website: https://hpckp.org/annual-meeting/
