In our continued commitment to social responsibility, we are thrilled to announce the halfway total of the ‘Our Money, Your Choice’ campaign launched at SC ’23 in Denver. Building on the success of our fundraising efforts where a remarkable £568 was raised, we continue to make a positive impact on global communities by raising a total of £113 at CIUK ’23.

Alces Flght’s participation at the end-of-year conference CIUK 2023 proved to be a resounding success, attendees who visited our booth could earn Flight Tokens, which they could then donate to one of our three chosen charities (One token = £1) amounting to an impressive £113. As a gift for participating, attendees were free to take our selected ‘swag’ such as stickers, key chains, pins or nothing at all if they wished.
The company expresses gratitude to all the attendees who decided to participate in our initiative, emphasising the collective power of giving back to global communities to make a difference.
Running the numbers:
In total our campaign has raised £681 for global charities, a total of £131 during CIUK and £568 at SC 2023.
Our donations from CIUK are being distributed between three different charities, each making a significant difference in their field. We are proud to support the following charities: Blue Marine Foundation, Shelter and CureSearch.
- Blue Marine Foundation improves the governance of our seas and helps local communities who are on the front line of ocean conservation.
- Shelter focuses on ending homelessness and providing support to those in need, they aim to ensure everyone has a safe and secure place to call home.
- CureSearch aims to end childhood cancer by driving targeted and innovative research with measurable results.
