The Alces Flight crew has chosen three global charities to raise funds for over 2023/24 starting at the SC’23 conference in Denver, Colorado
At Alces Flight, we focus on more than just the technical aspects of High-Performance Computing, we understand the importance of making small but meaningful changes to improve our community.
‘Our Money, Your Choice’ at SC23
Our 2023/24 campaign, ‘Our Money, Your Choice’ launched at SC23 in Denver, Colorado. We invited attendees who visited our booth to earn Flight Tokens, which they could then donate to one of our three chosen charities. (One token = $1) As a gift for participating, attendees were free to take selected ‘swag’ such as stickers, lip balms, key chains, or a pin – or nothing at all if they wished – as a reward for participating in our campaign.

We raised $568.00 for global charities!
Where the donations are headed:
Through 2023/2024 Alces Flight will support three charities at major events which are: Blue Marine Foundation, CureSearch, and World Neighbors.
- World Neighbors invests in people and communities by inspiring them to create life-changing solutions through vast programs such as agriculture, literacy, water, health, leadership, financial management, and environmental protection.
- CureSearch aims to end childhood cancer by driving targeted and innovative research with measurable results.
- Blue Marine improves the governance of our seas and helps local communities who are on the front line of ocean conservation. Their key strategic interventions include securing marine protected areas to ensure the protection of at least 30% of the ocean by 2030.
