This year’s Sustainable Reality (SR25) takes place in the heart of London—and we’re bringing not just big ideas, but a few fun rewards too.
Our last two community events took attendees from deep space to the foundations of modern supercomputing. For SR25, we’re combining science and creativity in a truly unique venue: the Courtyard Societies of Burlington House.
A Multidisciplinary Experience
Burlington House is home to six renowned institutions:
- The Geological Society of London
- The Linnean Society of London
- The Royal Astronomical Society
- The Society of Antiquaries of London
- The Royal Society of Chemistry
- And the Royal Academy of Arts
This year, we’re thrilled to host SR25 in the Library of the Royal Society of Chemistry, in continuous use since 1842. Talks will take place in the main library space, with areas for networking and hot desking all on the same floor.
It’s a venue that reflects our theme of interdisciplinary innovation, and we’re excited to share it with you.
Come As You Are
The Courtyard Societies are known for their diverse audiences, from tourists to fellows to academics, and their casual elegance. No need to dress up! Whether you’re a hoodie person or prefer a blazer and tie, you’ll fit right in.
Lunchtime Raffle + Moose for Science
We’re adding some light-hearted fun with a lunchtime raffle featuring prizes like:
- Beats Headphones
- A Dark Falcon LEGO set
- Exclusive Royal Academy goodies
You’ll also have a chance to collect this year’s ‘moosecot,’ our iconic moose mascot in a lab coat, complete with a collectible pin. (Everything is totally optional, of course… But we know you’ll want a moose.)
Agenda Coming Soon!
We’re finalizing this year’s agenda, including a Community Session spotlighting Early Career speakers. Stay tuned for announcements in the coming weeks.
Don’t Miss Out
Sustainable Reality is FREE to attend and open to those working, studying, or interested in all aspects of supercomputing. Space is limited, so be sure to register early.
We can’t wait to welcome you to London this October.
