- Location: Royal Society of Chemistry, Burlington House – London
Registration is FREE – however – spaces are limited, so be sure to sign up early to secure your place.
We can’t wait to welcome you!

Our Theme for 2025
Our focus for SR25 is Catalysts for Change—exploring simple, effective ways to make a big impact in supercomputing.
This year, we’ll explore strategies in:
Leveraging our community to spark collaboration
Powering progress through environmental efficiencies
Balancing flexibility and control with smarter, safer system design
Building legacy through leadership and elevating emerging voices and ideas
Registration is now open and we look forward to welcoming you to SR25.

Community Focus: Students + Early Career
New for 2025, we’re excited to introduce the Early Career Talks — a session dedicated to showcasing the ideas and research of the next generation of supercomputing professionals.
Our recipients will be announced on August 27, 2025!
Stay tuned for more details — and thank you to everyone who submitted!

About the RSC
Since 1857, the Royal Society of Chemistry has been a home for ideas, innovation, and collaboration.
Located at Burlington House, alongside fellow learned societies and the Royal Academy of Arts—its historic Library and Information Centre (dating back to 1842) remains a living archive of scientific discovery.
We chose this venue because, like supercomputing itself, it sits at the intersection of tradition and imagination. The RSC’s collaborative environment encourages fresh thinking from diverse perspectives, making it the ideal setting for SR25. It’s warm, welcoming, and designed to be open and accessible—reflecting the aspirations of our own HPC communities.

Celebrating our 3rd Year
Sustainable Reality began in 2023 as a UK community event event focused on making HPC and AI more practical and approachable.
We’re here to spark conversations, share real experiences, and show how people and technology can work together to create lasting, sustainable solutions. Our goal is to cut through the jargon, keep things simple, and make sure everyone feels part of the journey.
