Moving the Needle in HPC

Join us at Bletchley Park on September 25, as we revisit the four pillars of HPC: Hardware, Software, People, and Change – with an all new perspective.

From new hardware implementations and technical breakthroughs, to community shifts  – we’re seeking to explore:

  • How sustainability is driving technological innovation and
  • How building the right legacy is impacting our teams, hiring, and community.

Our aim is to capture our growth and discuss the next steps we need to take to continue to make an impact – no matter how big or small.

Hear from Change Makers

Bletchley Park is the home to change makers, so it comes as no surprise that we’re putting together an agenda that covers a wide range of cutting-edge topics.  From full implementations, AI impact, community experiences, and future thinkers, we’ve got you covered.

Our agenda is designed in hour blocks, each exploring a theme.  The idea is to allow our attendees time to fully explore subjects with experts in each field.  Check back soon for complete details, or look at last year’s speakers to see what we’ve presented in the past.

Interact with Enigma

Bletchley Park holds a special place in history as the site where the Government Code and Cypher School (GC&CS) deciphered military codes and ciphers during World War Two, contributing significantly to the Allied victory. This legacy of HPC is exemplified by the innovative methods and machines developed by Bletchley Park, such as the Turing/Welchman Bombe and Colossus, the world’s first electronic computer.

As a special agreement with the Bletchley Park team we are excited to announce that part of our agenda will be dedicated to intracting with an Enigma machine with one of their own experts.  This hands-on demonstration will allow attendees to learn more about ciphers and engage with a working machine in real time.

Engage with Community

We all know that attending events like this is an opportunity to connect with members of the HPC and AI communities.  This event will prove no different, as we are opening this free event up to anyone working, studying, or just interested in our field.

This event will include plenty of networking breaks and activities to allow you a chance to meet new people and catch-up with old friends.  We are also gathering information on online options and will have more information soon.
