What a whirlwind it has been! The Flight Crew took off to join over 14,000 participants at this year’s SC’23 in Denver, Colorado. From clients to community, partners to peaks, our time spent with this wonderful conference was very worthwhile. Here’s our wrap-up!
Concertim is go for launch!
We are pleased to announce that the latest Alces Flight product was launched at the SC’23 conference in Denver! Concertim is designed specifically for building private and public cloud environments that can be modified to the user’s unique needs and requirements. With Concertim, you can not only build great environments, but also reduce the costs and carbon footprint of research computing. Concertim can be accessed via our Alces Flight web portals, where users are provided with visual graphics and capabilities to configure their compute resources, AI, or machine learning (ML) easily and efficiently.
Attendees at the SC ’23 conference were able to watch a live demonstration of Concertim at their request, whilst having the opportunity to ask questions in a group or one-on-one setting. Want to see what the fuss is all about? Check out our press and product pages.
Escape Room
We were excited to launch our first digital ‘escape room’ where attendees had to solve four riddles for our protaganist, Monty the Moose, to be set free. A total of 148 participated in our online escape room, the lucky winners were able to solve the riddle in their own time during the SC ’23 conference. As a prize for winning, they could take one of our coveted ‘moosecots.’
The riddles were made with the aim to educate attendees about HPC, Alces Flight, and Denver, and of course with the intention to have lots of fun!
