Many people have asked us what the “Alces” in Alces Flight means. It is Latin for moose. We chose the moose as our symbol because of its powerful, adaptable, and purposeful way of life. A moose is a massive creature, yet it lives efficiently, remaining calm in demeanor and decisive in action even in complex situations. It is not flashy and thrives across many environments, which closely reflects how we at Alces Flight choose to operate. Moose do not waste energy. They act with intent. And that is exactly how we like to work.
